That's how I feel too.
Well, I had an 11 hour birth that I got home from at 3am. I was wiped. Well, Tom had gotten the kids to bed around 9:30pm and Izzy woke up crying around 2:30am. Well her crying woke up Zach and they both realized I wasn't home. This meant they needed to cry more. Poor Tom was so frustrated. Thankfully, I was already heading home. So by the time I got changed, cleaned up and into bed, it was 4am. They fussed and moved around and kept waking each other up until about 5am. Yuck. Then Tom came in and woke them both up at 8am (two hours earlier than they normally would get up) for church. Neither of them were very happy about it. Dunkan had been gone to teen conference and was just as tired.
So after church, Dunkan went to bed around 1:15pm. Izzy was asleep by 2pm and Zach "wasn't taking a nap!" I was too tired to fight him. So I made Zach a bowl of pasta and he sat in the family room to eat. I noticed it was quiet. I turned around to find this...
Well, I figured I would lie down for a few, too. It was already 3:30pm and figured Izzy would be awake anytime. Well, she woke me up alright... at 5pm!! I couldn't believe we all slept that long! Dunkan was still sound asleep and I had to go in and wake him, poor kiddo.
So, yeah. I totally understand Zach. I could have slept on the floor too.
